Fish Perfect for your Aquarium
Fish make for wonderful pets, as long as you care for them well. Aquariums form a beautiful section of a house. But the work involved in keeping an aquarium can put off so many people. But once you manage to keep exotic fish healthy and hygienic in the house, you shall enjoy such immense beauty. This calls for you to select fish that shall be easy to care for. You need to also select breeds that can live among others. Here are several of them which you shall also know how to feed.
Danios are characterized by being small, active and colorful. You will find these as red, yellow and green. They are lively but hardly aggressive and live well with other species. They prefer a large aquarium with gravel and plants at the bottom, with pH levels close to that of fresh water.
Black Molly has no preference for the water conditions. This makes it easier to care for them. They tend to be platinum colored, dusty gold or black. Their diet is made up of flake and pellet foods, bloodworms and brine shrimp. They are social, but do not do well here there are large fish.
Platies are the more colorful kind, mostly in blue, purple, red-orange, and yellow. They can be bred to produce more color blends. They are quiet and live well among other quiet fish. The male species are normally smaller than the female ones. You should put them in warmer water, and feed them flake food, freeze-dried food, and algae.
You will find Betta fish in shapes like half-moon, double-tail and crown tail. They prefer warmer water that it changed frequently.
Neon Tetra come with silver or white abdomens with bright blue backs. They also live well with other species.
Guppies are the most playful, and you shall see them breeding a lot. You shall soon have lots of guppies in your aquarium. Their females grow much bigger, almost twice the males. The males, on the other hand, are the more colorful species.
You shall tell a Rainbow fish by the way there are colored. They also grow more colorful once they settle in their new aquarium. They will also not be so active and prefer the company of less active fish as well.
Glofish are similar to Danios but also come with a neon shine. They are also less active fish.
